Our values guide every step of the repair

01

Reliability

We keep the repair moving and keep you informed at every stage.

02

Integrity

Clear communication and trusted partnerships with customers and insurers.

03

Technical Excellence

Qualified specialists and careful checks help us deliver repairs to a high standard.

Step one

Claim allocated to ASG

Once your insurer allocates your hail repair claim to ASG Hail, our team will contact you to explain the next steps and arrange an assessment.

If you are unsure whether your claim has been allocated, contact your insurer to confirm. You can also call our Customer Support Team on 1800 063 368 and we will help point you in the right direction.

Step two

Vehicle assessment

Our repair specialists assess the vehicle and document the hail damage. We prepare a quote and supporting photos for your insurer to review.

Once the repair is approved, we work with you to agree a suitable repair date and explain the expected timeframe based on the damage and repair method.

Step three

Repairs commence

At drop-off, we complete a pre-existing damage report and record a date-stamped video of your vehicle. Please remove personal belongings and child seats before handing over your vehicle.

Our technicians carry out the agreed repair. We keep you updated by phone, text or email, usually every three to five days, so you know how the work is progressing.

Typical repair timeframes

Paintless dent repair often takes around 3–5 working days. Combination repairs involving panel and paint work may take around 7–10 working days. Your confirmed timeframe depends on the damage, parts availability and repair requirements.

Step four

Repairs completed

Every completed repair goes through a quality check against insurer and industry standards. We confirm the agreed work is complete and the vehicle is ready for collection.

Before pickup, we provide a complimentary wash and vacuum. Our team will confirm any excess or approved private repair payment arrangements with you. The live process information supplied for this page states that completed repairs are covered by a lifetime warranty.

Who is ASG Hail?

ASG Hail is an Australian owned and managed hail repair specialist. We coordinate repairs for customers and insurance partners, from claim allocation through to collection.

What is paintless dent repair (PDR)?

PDR is a repair technique that carefully massages dents out from behind the panel, usually without fillers or repainting. It can preserve the vehicle’s original factory paint when the damage is suitable.

What are the benefits of PDR?

When the damage is suitable, PDR retains the factory finish and can be a faster, less invasive repair option than panel and paint work. Our team will assess the damage and confirm the right method for your vehicle.

What are combination repairs?

Combination repairs use PDR alongside panel and paint work where dents are too sharp, the paint is cracked, or some areas are not suitable for PDR. The repair plan is based on the damage found during assessment.

How long will my vehicle be off the road?

Many PDR repairs take around 3–5 working days and combination repairs around 7–10 working days. The final timeframe depends on the extent of damage, parts availability and the approved work.
